Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BlindsHive’s websites and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the business you represent.
1. The Service
BlindsHive provides software for window-covering dealerships, including quoting, product catalogs with automated pricing, customer portals, invoicing, online payments, scheduling, job tracking, and analytics. We may add, change, or remove features as the Service evolves; if a change materially reduces core functionality you pay for, you may cancel under Section 4.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by team members you invite. Seats are for individual people and may not be shared.
3. Subscriptions and billing
The Service is billed monthly: $100/month including one seat, plus $50/month for each additional seat, plus any optional add-ons you enable (such as SMS). Fees are charged in advance each billing cycle and are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before any price change takes effect.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your account settings; no calls, no penalties. Access continues through the end of the paid billing period, after which your account is deactivated. You can export your data before or after cancellation by contacting support.
5. Your content
You own the data you and your team enter into the Service — catalogs, quotes, customer records, invoices, and everything else. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to store the information you enter, including your customers’ contact details, and for obtaining any consents required to send them communications through the Service.
6. Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. We do not store payment card or bank account numbers. You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts you invoice and for your own tax obligations.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or to send spam;
- attempt to access another customer’s data;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
- reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written permission; or
- upload malicious code or content that infringes others’ rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by BlindsHive and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service except the right to use it while your subscription is active.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties such as Stripe, Google Calendar, and SMS carriers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that automated pricing will be free of errors arising from the source data you or your manufacturers provide. You are responsible for reviewing quotes and invoices before sending them.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlindsHive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold BlindsHive harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
